Ashtanga Yoga
Ashtanga yoga is one of the most widely practiced form of yoga in the world today. Word ‘Ashtanga’ is made up of two words ‘Ashta’ (meaning number eight) and ‘Anga’ (meaning body part). ‘Ashta’ represent the eight branches of the yoga sutras philosophy.
It is a form of ‘Hatha Yoga’ and comprises of fixed sequence of asanas split into six levels. It practices the eight sutras into the human system, mainly focuses on breath control and meditation in sync with body postures which leads to a peaceful mind and healthy body.
The key principles that should be followed during the practice are:
- Drishti – Focus eyes on a specific point
- Vinyasa – Synchronizing breath and postures
- Pranayama – Hear your breathing to increase concentration
- Bandha – Lock the body through postures for core stability
- Practice – Practice at least three days a week to sync body, mind and soul

Course duration for beginner level is 2 months followed by ongoing practice sessions.

Three live sessions per week of 1 hour each for adults. Two live sessions per week of 45 minutes each for kids.
