What makes it different from other physical form of exercises:
Ashtanga yoga is one of the most widely practiced form of yoga in the world today. Word ‘Ashtanga’ is made up of two words ‘Ashta’ (meaning number eight) and ‘Anga’ (meaning body part). ‘Ashta’ represent the eight branches of the yoga sutras philosophy.
It is a form of ‘Hatha Yoga’ and comprises of fixed sequence of asanas split into six levels. It practices the eight sutras into the human system, mainly focuses on breath control and meditation in sync with body postures which leads to a peaceful mind and healthy body.
The key principles that should be followed during the practice are:
Asanas give a fully body workout rather than targeting just one body part at a time which makes body flexible, look young and improves overall fitness.
Focuses on breath which helps in good circulation of blood to all body parts. Helps strengthen the digestive system, improves body strength and immunity.
More time spent in front of screens leads to issues like back ache, obesity and bad posture. Yoga is a great way to improve body posture and stay fit.
Teaches to focus on ourselves, be aware of shortcomings of our own body and how to overcome them to gain self respect

Course duration for beginner level is 2 months followed by ongoing practice sessions.
Three live sessions per week of 1 hour each for adults. Two live sessions per week of 45 minutes each for kids.

Certificate at successful completion of the course.
By the end of the course you will have a basic understanding of yog asanas and will experience the first step towards being self-aware.
