About Hindi Language
Hindi is one of the oldest (10th century) and most (fourth) spoken languages in the world. It is one of the official languages of India but also spoken in some or the other form in countries like Nepal, Mauritius, South Africa, UAE and Fiji. It is part of the Indo-Aryan language family, mainly derived from Vedic Sanskrit and written in ‘Devanagari’ script. It is also one of the most widely spoken languages in Indian communities in Australia, Europe, UK and USA
Hindi words are divided into five main categories based on their source of origin –
Tatsam – Words inherited from Sanskrit without modification. Such as name (नाम), prarthna (प्रार्थना).
Ardha-Tatsam – Words inherited from Sanskrit but modified over time. Such as Suraj (सूरज) and Surya (सूर्य)
Tadbhav – Native words but influenced from Sanskrit. Such as Karma (कर्म) and Kaam (काम)
Deshaj – Source not really known, likely borrowed from local non Indo-Aryan languages. Such as Chidiya (चिड़िया), Joota (जूता), Khidki (खिड़की)
Videshi – Words sourced from non-indigenous languages such as English (Kameti/कमेटी meaning Committee), Persian (Qila/किला meaning Fort), Arabic (Sabun/साबुन meaning soap)
Hindi is a phonetic language which makes it relatively easy to learn. Each word is pronounced just the same way as they are written. Once you know how each letter sounds you can easily pick up new words and develop vocabulary.

Course Features
Eligibility
Kids from age 5 and above can learn Hindi. You just need to have curiosity and patience to learn this language.
Study Material
Free e-material. But if you like physical course material, we can deliver it at your doorstep for a small fee.
Duration
Generally it takes approx. 8-9 months for a novice to read, write and speak simple sentences. Actual duration depends on age and specific requirements.
Live Classes
Two live online sessions per week of one hour each. Regular assignments, quizzes and activities for fun learning.

Certificate
You get certificate at successful completion of each level and also at the end of course completion.

Recommended age is at least 5 years or above.
Children can start picking up words and sentences in a few classes but it can take up-to 9 months to notice the comfort in speaking the language. The more you practice at home quicker you will see the results.
Two live sessions per week of one hour each. No of sessions per week can be customized.
Option to pause sessions is only available in Personal class. You must give two weeks notice and can pause the sessions for max. 4 weeks. Allowed only once during the course.
Just book a demo session to get a feel of learning and speaking Hindi. After the demo class we will contact you with all the information related to enrollment.
Yes we will provide practice sheets in pdf format to help you practice reading and writing Hindi. Physical course material can also be provided at your doorstep for a small fee.
We offer both. Digital course material is included in the price. Physical course material is optional and charged separately including delivery.
Inform us about class cancellation minimum 2 hours prior to class and we will reschedule based on student and teacher availability
Laptop/desktop with stable internet connection, headphones, mic, pen-paper, course material and a smile.
We follow a very simple cancellation policy: Inform us over email (bookings@mynsha.com) about cancellation minimum two weeks in advance, no money will be deducted from next payment cycle onward. Note: Refund (if applicable) can take up to two weeks.
